“Brick” and the People’s Budget Office
I was selected as a resident for Philadelphia Mural Arts People’s Budget Office in 2024. I held several workshops inviting participants to create a comic about how the budget impacts their communities, including envisioning how the Philadelphia budget can be better spent. I also created a comic, Brick, about my own experience, thoughts and research from the residency. This cumulated in a zine that was distrubted to visitors of the People’s Budget Office in Love Park, Philadelphia.
